The Camp Harris Open House on August 13, 2022 was a memorable day. We had a great turnout and visitors were able to meet the horses and staff, and get an inside look at our Collaborative Horsemanship workshop for veterans.

Thank you to the entire War Horse Creek team and volunteers for your help during this event. Volunteers Jill Tucker and Michelle Reitenmeyer helped to shuttle our guests and also gave property tours of War Horse Creek and Living Free Animal Sanctuary.

Thank you to veterans Izzy, Dario and Leo who worked with the mustangs during our horsemanship demonstration.

Thank you to the Idyllwild Rotary Club for grilling delicious burgers and dogs for the group.

We also received several donations, for which we are incredibly grateful. Your contribution will go directly to helping veterans attend our workshops.
